Mod the Movies

This Mod is cool I had lines of people waiting for work at the start of the game I had 3 stage sets and 3 film teams going to work. By 1950 I was at $15 mill. Thanks Man. Is there a Mod to have less bitchy actors?

i copied the contents in the folder the movies\data but nothing seemed to change regarding the line of employees, please help

Anyone know of a mod that can change the year? I'm tired of waiting so damn long to get better costumes.

The fan - dont just copy and paste it, you must "UNRAR" the file in the data directory.

Any one know how to change the amount of people u get in the line, the mod works fine but i get lots of employees queuing up. i managed to change the amount of money i start with but can't find how change the amount of people u start with. Cheers!

Dose it work only on new games?Because i've played from 1920 to 2000 without it and now it dosen't work in that game...but if i start a new one it works...do i have to wait longer or is not working if played the game without it untill now?

to make it work, change the name of the data file to [filename].rar then unrar the files into the data folder

To change the amount of people you have for you facilities goto: (64 bit) C:\Program Files (x86)\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\facility (32 bit) C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\facility And open the *.ini files with notepad and alter the amount where it says: [subfacilities] [subfacilities/crew] [subfacilities/crew/staff] crew=30>>>>>>>THIS LINE PrestigeStaffAdjuster = 1.0 This will adjust how many people you have in your queue. At least I believe so.

is the number of people/employees limited? im at 1940 and nobody is standing there anymore... even if i load the game again, theres nobody..

i tried transferring it to my Data folder: C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data but when i opened my game it doesn't work. I also tried "unRARing" it by extracting the files directly in my Data folder. Am i transferring it correctly? Help appreciated!

To those who cannot get it to work on old saves. You need to demolish your Drama School and rebuild it straight away. When the School is rebuilt there will be a line of people outside.

This mods seems to immediately unlock all my stunt awards from the very beginning. Can someone give me the lines to keep that from happening? Like, the global.ini file with Movies SE installed?

Hey i fixed the problem, unfortunately none of the above is totally right, so just fallow my steps and go :) First go to your game directory and go into your data file, for example : C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data now just put only "gloabal.ini" in it. then you have to create a new file which name must be "facility". ok now go into your facility file, for example; C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data\facility now put the rest of the ".ini" files in it (except global.ini which we already added it in data file). it is done, now you can play your game with enaugh employees :)

Wait! Cancel that, I've worked it out. However, as mwentioned above all the Stunt Achievments are automatically unlocked when starting a new game. How can I turn this off? Also, is it possible, or if there is a mod, to slow the passage of (game)time without affecting gamespeed?

download 'the movies pak poker' tool and use it on The Movies\Data\pak\MISC0000.pak then extract 'facility' folder to data folder and edit facility_crew.ini->crew=12 to what you want :) also thank Selim for his post

These ini files will make your studio run at super great. More employees for hire..." But I do have the same problem as Blake and Gameputra that it unlocks all stunt achievments at the very beginning of the game, if anyone know hot to solve this issue I would be so glad he would tell us

You know the mod is working when all the Stunts achievements are unlocked. If no one is in the line at the Drama School, then you need to demolish and rebuild it. Gizzalucy was right!
